There are a couple of ways to keep up with new releases in The Scinegue Series. The 'About the Author' page on Amazon has a simple area to click on the right side of the page under Stay up to Date.

You can also email me at scinegue@gmail.com and ask me to send you an email when a new book is released. No spam involved, don't worry. Just a short email letting you know when the next book is available for purchase. I like to release my new books at a discounted price as a thank you to everyone who is reading the series but I only keep the price discounted for a couple of days so using Amazon's service or asking me to email an update is probably the simplest way to catch the book while it is on sale.
Update: The third book in The Scinegue Series is with the editor now. That means a new release should be out within a month! (Edited April 20: See http://srbooth.blogspot.com/2014/03/dont-give-release-date-until-youre.html lol!)

$.99 SALE!
Do you like a good sale? So do I. Scinegue, book 1 of The Scinegue series, will be reduced to $.99 for an entire week (from now through 2/21/14). That's a savings of $3 off the regular price of $3.99. Pick up a copy while it's on sale, and please consider leaving a review.

What is Scinegue?
If you've been wondering what 'Scinegue' is, don't worry, you're not alone!
It's not a foreign language or some high-tech word no one has ever heard of, it's simply the name of the corporation in the novel around which the story revolves.
Now, how and why that name was chosen is a pretty interesting story and is revealed in Chapter 18 of Scinegue. I'll let Uncle Bill explain it to you there.
I think after learning the background of the name, you'll agree that Scinegue is a very fitting name for this book!

A Cover for The Forest
I have been so blessed to find the cover designer I've been using. Laura Gordon at the Book Cover Machine designs amazing covers. I've used her for all three covers in The Scinegue Series now and she is so easy to work with.
Actually there isn't much work involved, at least not for me. I tell her what I envision and she makes it into a cover. As easy as that.
I approved the cover for book three based on her first proof. Tell me that's not a good designer.
I can't wait to share the new cover with everyone. I think it turned out great!

I love Pinterest!! It took me forever to go check it out because I really didn't understand the concept. And perhaps I still don't completely but I'm having fun with it now. I can search for anything I'm interested in and pull up pages of 'pins' related to my search.( http://www.pinterest.com )
I recently heard about another author who uses pins to give an idea of what she envisions for her books as she writes. I thought that sounded really fun so started a board for Scinegue, http://www.pinterest.com/scinegue/scinegue/ . Obviously none of the pins are an exact match for the characters or things or places in the book but it's fun searching through pins and adding those that are similar to what I envision for Scinegue.
Here is a link to all of my pins. Check it out and feel free to add pins of your own if you find something fitting!
***I wanted to edit this. Now that I've been on Pinterest for a couple of months I'm starting to notice some of the really cool pins (usually a recipe) simply link to an ad or a dead page. I've learned to always check out the actual link before pinning, or especially before recommending a pin. I posted one pin for a recipe to Twitter before checking the link and when I clicked on it, it went to an advertisement for a diet aid. ;>(
So, all that to say, "Check the link before you recommend a pin to someone else."
